Science and Technology

He is heavily involved in content knowledge workshops for middle school science teachers, and is an active researcher in the fields of star formation and variable stars, having taken observing runs to Kitt Peak and Las Campanas Observatories, and having his own 16" telescope and observatory at UTM. He is also involved with the travel study program at UTM, taking trips to England, Ireland, Italy and Belize. He is also an associate curator at the Pink Palace, and the Science and Technology Committee Chairman for the upcoming Discovery Park of America in Union City, TN. He has a wife, Lori, and three kids, Amelia, Emma, and Will.
