Stephanie Osborn

 She worked numerous Space Shuttle flights and the ISS, as well as training astronauts. One was Kalpana Chawla, a member of the crew lost in the Columbia disaster.


She holds graduate and undergraduate degrees inAstronomy, Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics, & is "fluent" in Geology and Anatomy. She obtained her degrees from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN & Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

Stephanie is currently retired from space work. She now works with SIGMA, the science fiction think tank, while writing science fiction mysteries based on her knowledge, experience, and travels.

Mission

Our primary focuses are literacy and education. To that end, we have held an annual convention in Memphis, TN for over two decades hosting numerous authors, editors, scientists, and artists. We also hold a free seminar for educators and librarians, a writers' conference with workshops by award winning authors and editors, and annual student art and writing contests.
