He currently is a professional member of the Industrial Design Society of America and enjoys drawing stuff and getting paid for it. He also serves as business manager for his beautiful and talented wife, Jackie Gamber. He has aspirations of driving the motor-coach full time someday, shuttling her to writerly events.

Our primary focuses are literacy and education. To that end, we have held an annual convention in Memphis, TN for over two decades hosting numerous authors, editors, scientists, and artists. We also hold a free seminar for educators and librarians, a writers' conference with workshops by award winning authors and editors, and annual student art and writing contests.
